getting a bad grade on something is supposed to motivate you to try harder but it only makes me want to give up and not try at all anymore ever for anything
I think books are absolutely lovely. The crisp, soft sound it makes as you flip through its pages and as you open it it invites you in, seeking to pull you in into a sea of imagination and knowledge.
